Dear Rob,
This was such a dream for me - I'm an amateur cricketer and play in a local Sunday league, so having my very own custom built cricket bat was something I thought I'd never do! I love my wife so much for getting me this experience! My shiny new bat is my baby!

My husband is a keen cricket player (and even though I'm biased he really is very good), so I thought a bespoke bat was an investment for him! He had a wonderful day at the workshops in at Somerset's cricket ground and was absolutely delighted with his tailor-made bat. It's beautifully made, you can see the quality, so I've earnt some serious brownie points!

Firstly please can i thank you for supplying me with the most amazing bat i have ever played with! The admiring glances it gets and the comments i hear about it are never ending, its always "it must be the bat?" Anyhow thank you, so far 399 runs and counting that's only over 8 games and includes 16 sixes, never have i been so confident in my bat!

Just a quick note to thank you very much for the service I recieved last week. Having split the toe and shoulder of my Solution bat I was pleasantly suprised to hear you could fix it! However what shocked me the most was the speed at which the service is carried out! I phoned Monday morning, posted said bat Monday afternoon and received it back Friday morning looking like new. The best bit was using it saturday and scoring 172no including 18 sixes and 9 fours. My 150 came up in just 76balls! In 25yrs of playing cricket I have never felt in such control of a 3lb1oz bat, such is the power and more importantly the balance of the blade. Keep up the fantastic standards of both work and customer service as it makes a refreshing change! Needless to say i'm singing your companies praises from the rooftops...

Rob and Nick,
Again a splendid job! I received my Harlequin bat in pristine order earlier today in the office and have just taken it out into the nets. The low weight (2.9), together with a fabulous balance really gave me something to stand up to those pace deliveries and offered me fractionally more time to adjust to the variations, not to mention a few very interested looks from team members eyeballing this fine piece of craftsmanship.
I expect the Harlequin will serve me nicely in the top-order, while my Solution bat will come out should I bat lower order to frustrate those spinners and slower seamers.
I am grateful for the professional advise and the patience with which you answered each and every question; quite a difference from meeting some average retailer trying to make a quick sale. Thanks again!

I received my package late on Monday afternoon, I was like a little boy I just could not wait to open it! I must say the bat is excellent, it’s nice and heavy with a great pick up. The gloves are a perfect fit and the pads are great. I’m really impressed with your bag especially the size of it makes it worthwhile. I really want to thank you guys at M&H for a great service and being very helpful to me to make a great purchase. Thank you for stickers that you sent to me as well. Dear Rob & Nick,
I took advantage of M&H's bespoke bat service to make a duplicate of my favourite bat which died in pre-season nets. With nothing more to work with than 3/4 of a bat and a bag of splinters, Rob has managed the seemingly impossible and recreated the pick-up balance and weight of the original, in fact I think the new M&H version is probably better. That bat is superb in every department and is only bettered by the customer service, skill and friendliness of the guys at M&H who were an absolute pleasure to deal with, care about their bats and their customers. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending M&H to anyone; whether you are looking for a bespoke bat or one "off the shelf" I don't think you will find better in terms of quality or service. Rob,
Brought a top of the range bat back in 2004, at the end of the season it broke and I had it replaced with a bespoke bat made to a shape/weight of my choice. Well there are not any words to describe how good this bat was, scored buckets of runs . When it broke, my heart also did, wouldn't think twice about buying another one, also had an original before this and it was just as good a bat. Would recommend to anyone who wants a high quality bat, with great customer service. Thanks lads,

Just wanted to write to let you know that I received my bat back today. Thank you so much for doing such a great job on it. It looks like the bats that Michael Bevan and Adam Gilchrist first used back when your company was taking off. I have two 20/20 matches this weekend and can't wait to keep the good form going. Dear Nick,
Am I Impressed or not!
Having made an initial E-mail enquiry with a next day response, I sent the bat to you on Monday 25th September 2007 and received a call from you on Thursday 28th September 2007, explaining the cost and giving you payment.
To my delight and surprise the bat was back in my house on the morning of Friday 29th September 2007.
The bat toe had been repaired along with a full service, this included a new grip, new soft bag and re-transferred, it looked like new and all this for £33.00.
